Grooveshark & New Music Genre's

Indie Pop: Like Indie Rock but less sad and more catchy. Generally upbeat and happy, music that anyone can enjoy without knowing the name of the band.

Lo-fi: Music recorded to intentionally sound bad to the point of sounding good. The aesthetic of listening to your best friend's brother's band's first album on the roof of your house
your house.

Vaporwave: The early internet in a music genre. Sounds from the 80s and 90s woven into new sounds with the visual aesthetic to match. Skweee: Video game music with a side of funk. Funky electro-chiptune beats.

Folktronica: Folk vocals layered on top of synths and electronic samples, it's good.

Alternative R&B: For the sensitive gangster in all of us. Somewhere between R. Kelly and FKA Twigs. Post-Omarion dancing in the video for "Ice Box
